President’s Message
PENCO Engineering, is a Professional Engineering Company (PENCO)—this is where we derived our name.  Your project is directed by a team of principals and project managers who take pride in their work and personal involvement.

Our staff takes pride in solving difficult engineering and surveying problems, and developing cost-efficient solutions through our design.  We apply the experience and knowledge of our staff to anticipate and resolve project issues before they become project concerns.  We share your concerns for cost effectiveness, timeliness, responsiveness, and quality.  For this reason, all your projects receive personalized service on key design and decision issues.  We work as an extension of your staff.  This challenge is the cornerstone of our philosophy and our success.

PENCO Engineering, was founded in 1988 in Santa Ana, California.  Our first three major projects were Mickey’s Toontown for Disneyland; Spectrum 4 grading for the Irvine Company in Irvine, California; and Hyde Park Drain for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.  We are happy to say that these same clients remain as our clients today and continue to be a major source of our work.  Since then, we have added hundreds of clients that continue to give us repeat work.  The key reason for our repeat work is our staff of trained professionals dedicated to excellence and outstanding service.  That quality has created the backbone of our corporate growth and success.  I am proud to say that our staff is very active in our community and professional associations, which we encourage and support.  Our staff is involved on the Board and Committees of the local chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the California Land Survey Association, the Building Industry Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the American Public Works Association, as well as various churches, charities, and other organizations.  We believe in giving back our time and resources to our community and our profession.  We are proud to be part of this great industry that creates a better life for each of our citizens, whether it be a road that gets them to work; a clean waterway that creates an environment safe for our families; a park in which they play; or a development community in which we live, shop, and work.  We proudly play a role in each of these areas.

We are grateful to each client that helped us to achieve our success.  Without you, this would not be possible, so I personally want to thank you for your business.

We continue to be grateful to have an opportunity to work for and be part of building this great country of ours.  I thank God for the day he gave me the opportunity to come to this country.  I know the alternatives to democracy and opportunity.  God bless America!
